DMCA Policy

SoundGIFs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
Filing a takedown notice
If you believe content hosted on SoundGIFs infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@soundgifs.com including:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on SoundGIFs where the material is located.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the reported content and notify the user who uploaded it. Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@soundgifs.com identifying the removed content and explaining why it does not infringe.
